DobeQuest was created in 2003 as an end-user database for DPCA Members. Only Members have the ability to edit entries in Dobequest via the use of your personal password.
Functional enhancements have been made throughout the years and we are pleased to announce the addition of a "proposed pedigree" feature to Dobequest.
To ensure as much data as is available is included in the Dobequest database, Members have the ability to enter authenticated information from the public domain (show catalogs, authenticated websites such as AKC, OFA, etc.) on any dog, not just their dog. What you read on the internet or "heard at a dog show" is NOT authenticated information.
"Help files" are provided on the top right corner of each webpage in DobeQuest to assist Members with entering information correctly into the database.
Following the DPCA Code of Ethics, all information entered should be accurate and not misleading or fraudulent.
ONLY REGISTERED NAMES OF DOGS ARE TO BE ENTERED IN DOBEQUEST.
Potential breedings, "fake puppies", "Spot x Fluffy Litter", "Red Collar Male", "Pick Puppy", or any variation of above, ARE NOT ALLOWED. Please use the “PROPOSED PEDIGREE” option at the bottom of the search page if you need a pedigree of your new or proposed litter.
Your password provides an EDIT history to monitor who enters information of any sort. Sharing your login credentials is STRICTLY forbidden. Your password to enter information into the database is a privilege, not a right.
Failure to follow these rules will result in removal of your password for at least 6 months.
Help us keep Dobequest the most comprehensive database on the Doberman breed by following the Dobequest data entry rules.
