Comments
Dx'd with early stage DCM 5-26-2022 by family veterinarian. Started on 7.5 mg Vetmedin, twice a day. 24-Hour Holter monitor on 6-8-2022. 1 PVC with 1 Single. Zero doubles or triples. Cardiologist states Holter is NORMAL with no signs of oDCM.

Vet has dx'd Degenerative Myelopathy in Hannah. Hannah has had weakness in her hind end with slipping and falling. Acupuncture is not indicated. We will add Galliprant, Adequan injections, and Amantadine to her daily meds.

Intervertebral Disk Disease diagnosed at 13 years 1 month - Comments: Hannah has developed severe weakness in her hind end, with knuckling worse on the right rear leg.

At age almost 11, Hannah decided to eat part of a blanket and obstructed. She had successful surgery just 1 month before her 11th whelpday. At age 12, (August 2022) Hannah again ingested part of a bath mat and obstructed. Surgery was performed again. A large, (4 pound) benign mammary mass was also removed during that surgery. Five months after the bath mat obstruction, (January 2023) Hannah AGAIN ate a foreign object - black plastic? - and obstructed. Surgery again to remove the foreign object.

Comments
After having staples removed from obstruction surgery, Hannah licked the insides of her front legs down to the muscle. Started Apoquel. Currently is continuing to take Apoquel although some signs of itching remain.
